Which tests are included?
We will test for the following bacterial and viral infections:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Herpes
- Trichomonas Vaginalis
- Mycoplasma Genitalium
- Ureaplasma Urealyticum/Parvum
- Gardnerella/Bacterial Vaginosis
NOTE: For the Herpes test to be accurate you must be symptomatic at the time you submit your urine sample. See the Herpes Test page for more details.
How does it work?
The test is urine based so you need to provide a sample using the testing kit that we will supply. The lab will then use your urine sample to ascertain if you have any of the above infections.
What if I test positive for any of these infections?
We can arrange an appointment with a Doctor so that you can discuss the results and get the required medication. Call 0844 561 0750 for more information.
How long does the test result take?
As we are testing for a variety of possible infections, this test can take up to 5 working days from the time that we receive your sample back at the lab.
How reliable are the results?
We use one of the UK’s leading pathology labs and the process is the same as if you were to use your own doctor other than the fact that we do not need you to visit us in order to provide the sample.
How long should I wait after a risky event?
Some of the infections will not show up in a test for around 2 weeks so this is the length of time we recommend waiting after a sexual encounter that might put you at risk of picking up one of these infections.
